Attorneys
John Kokish is an attorney of significant experience, having started his legal career in 1969. He represents clients in a variety of practice areas, including real estate, business and commercial law, civil litigation, family law, employment law, construction law, wills and trusts, landlord tenant matters, and alternative dispute resolution and mediation. Mr. Kokish is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals 10th Circuit, Colorado, the U.S. District Court District of Colorado, and all state courts of Colorado. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Kokish has served as an assistant county attorney for Douglas County, Colorado. Mr. Kokish belongs to several professional organizations, including the Denver Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. He has also served as President of the Douglas - Elbert County Bar Association and a member of the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Kokish has been a member of the Governor's Commission on Judicial Performance of the Eighteenth Judicial District and the panel of arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Kokish earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of Law, where he graduated as a member of the Order of St. Ives. He also holds a Master's from New York University and a B.B.A. from City College of the City University of New York.
